Angela B. Shiflet is the Larry H. McCalla Professor Emerita
of Mathematics and Computer Science and former chair of the
Computer Science Department at Wofford College. She holds a Ph.D.
in mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
Murray P. Pendarvis is Assistant Professor of Biological
Sciences at Southeastern Louisiana University. He holds a Ph.D.
from the University of Southern Mississippi.
George W. Shiflet is the Larry H. McCalla Professor Emeritus
of Biology and former chair of the Department of Biology at Wofford
College. He holds a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.

textbook and also assign as extra credit assignments. Having the
