About the Author

Alison Lester is the well-known creator of many popular and award-winning children's books. Her picture book Are We There Yet? was the winner of the 2005 Children's Book Council Picture Book of the Year Award. Miranda Nation is an award-winning filmmaker. Originally training as an actor, Miranda shifted her focus to writing and directing, with a strong interest in social justice and a desire to create complex contemporary roles for women.
