About the Author

The winner of five national magazine writing awards, Mark Alan Leslie has won wide acclaim for his historical novel, Midnight Rider for the Morning Star, while his historical novelette, True North: Tice's Story, was a Publishers Weekly Featured Book in 2015. A longtime journalist and editor, Leslie lives in Maine, with his wife, Loy. The couple has two grown sons and three granddaughters.
