About the Author

Professor Shi-xu has been a Research Fellow at the University of Amsterdam, Lecturer at the National University of Singapore, and Reader at the University of Ulster, UK. He is the author of Cultural Representations: Analysing Discourses about the Other and co-edited Read the Cultural Other. He is Professor and Director of the institute of Discourse and Cultural Studies, Zhejiang University, China
