About the Author

Richard Warren is an author and freelance journalist and currently the Consumer Columnist for The Vegas Voice newspaper. His book "Scammers, Schemers, and Dreamers," was released in June 2014. Co-written with Elisabeth Daniels, the former head of the Nevada Fight Fraud Task Force, the book explores the human toll of being victimized by fraud. Richard is also the author of "A Rehabber's Tale, the Reality of Fixing and Flipping Real Estate." In addition his fiction was recently featured in "Tales From the Silver State," an anthology of Emerging Nevada Writers. Richard is graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas having majored in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. He is currently in the Masters program at UNLV majoring in English Literature.
