Nota al texto
El ferí de Benastepar, o los moros de Sierra Bermeja
This previously unedited novel is a significant contribution to our
knowledge of nineteenth-century writers like Miguel Hué y Camacho
who opted to reimagine the relations between Christians and Moors
during the Morisco rebellions following the fall of Granada.
Luckily, El ferí de Benastepar has found itself in the capable
hands of editors Javier Muñoz de Morales Galiana and Daniel Muñoz
Sempere, who offer us a wide window into the originality and
multiple sources of the novel.
