About the Author

I have been writing poems for various corporate websites and magazines, including Tata World, Pit Stop, and @TCS. I currently write for the "Poet's Corner" column in the Glenview Lantern newspaper, published weekly in Illinois, USA. I have won prizes in poetry and slogan writing contests, and it has encouraged me to explore and enrich my writing career. My poems got selected in the United Poet Laureate International global poetry awards (2015) on world peace and within India as shortlisted poem by the anthology of The Poetry Society of India. (2015) Love is my favorite topic and I really enjoy writing poems on romance and love. When love springs in hearts there will be no quarrels in homes, and no need of violence or weapons among nations. Loving people can create a peaceful and terror free world! Love has a myriad of emotions and beautiful expressions like expectations, affection, little fights, turn-on, mood swings, physical intimacy, anger, longing and much more! I was wondering what could resemble this beautiful feeling of love and the wonders it creates in our hearts and souls... then the season changed and attractive colors exploded from nature. The perfect title for the book, Falling in Love or Loving in Fall, was born during the most beautiful season of love and colors. Even when Cupid first strikes we call it falling in love. I found that Fall is the only season that delights us with beauty, colors, moments, and varieties, offering wonder to our senses, heart, mind and soul... Love offers the same in whatever stage that love is in! After the Fall comes the white snow which shows our return to the pure white source after several experiences. Similarly we return to pure white source after tremendous experiences of various forms of love. We return to that unconditional, most bountiful and purest form of divine love. This book captures expressions and emotions straight from my heart as powerful as how we feel when Cupid strikes! From my days of college, corporate, travel in both East and West, I had a certain set of poems that were closest to my heart unpublished! Now they are for you to read, like and ponder. Apart from writing, I am interested in travel, yoga, photography, psychology, alternative medicines, finance, science, technology, and arts. I am a software engineer by profession.
