Robert Peretz Corman is a member of the Seven Pillars House of Wisdom Board of Advisors. As president of Applied Concepts, he provides executive coaching and whole systems thinking leadership to senior nonprofit leaders. Previously, Robert led the National Partnership for Social Enterprise, which focused on market-driven approaches to social issues and the Gallup International Institute, where he helped launch the Health of the Planet Survey. Beginning as a criminal and environmental lawyer, he became president of The Fund for New Jersey, starting various organizations, including a community foundation with assets now over $500 million. A practitioner of Nondual Kabbalistic Healing and student of shamanic traditions, Robert currently chairs A Growing Culture, an NGO that is building an online agroecology knowledge commons for global farmers. Pir Zia Inayat-Khan is a scholar and teacher of Sufism in the lineage of his grandfather, Hazrat Inayat Khan. He received his B.A. (Hons) in Persian Literature from the London School of Oriental and African Studies, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Religion from Duke University. Pir Zia is founder of Seven Pillars House of Wisdom, and also of Sulūk Academy, a school of contemplative study with branches in the U.S. and Europe.
