Michael Byrne is a former English teacher and taxi driver who now works as a full-time author. Lottery Boy is his first novel. Michael lives with his teenage daughter in Hampshire. Gunnar is a RADA-trained British screen, theatre and voice actor, known for his appearance in War Horse (2011), and in television programs Genius (2017) and The Demon Headmaster (1996). His theatre work is extensive, including roles with Shakespeare’s Globe, Edinburgh Lyceum and the National Theatre, and he has performed in over 60 radio plays.
