About the Author

Laurie Ezpeleta lives on an island in the Pacific Northwest with her dog, Buddy. She has a master's in teaching but prefers to spend her time writing for children. Her books include her children's picture book, "A Witches' Thanksgiving," and her young adult action-adventure series, "Spy Kid." Ezpeleta has published numerous magazine and newspaper articles as well. An avid traveler, she has hiked, kayaked and sailed all over the world--but always looks forward to coming home to her four grandchildren, her garden, and Buddy.
