David Maybury-Lewis was Edward C. Henderson Professor of Anthropology at Harvard University and founder and president of Cultural Survival, an organization that defends indigenous rights. Theodore Macdonald is a Lecturer in Anthropology and Social Studies at Harvard University and was affiliated with the University Committee on Human Rights Studies. Biorn Maybury-Lewis is Dean of Academic Affairs at the New England Institute of Art.
