Stanley Hauerwas (PhD, Yale University) is professor
emeritus of divinity and law at Duke University. His previous books
include Cross-Shattered Christ, Performing the Faith, The Peaceable
Kingdom, With the Grain of the Universe, A Better Hope, and
Christian Existence Today.
