David Kamp, FASLA, LF, NA is the founding principal of Dirtworks, PC Landscape Architecture, located in New York City. Through practice, teaching, writing and advocacy, David's leadership and contributions promoting health through design and nature are at the forefront of the profession.
A Harvard Loeb Fellow, MacDowell Colony Fellow member of the National Academy of Design, and recognized through numerous awards and publications, David has been featured in four nationally and internationally broadcast documentaries and received an Honorary Fellowship from University College Falmouth (UK) in recognition of his contributions to the landscape architecture profession. A frequent guest speaker and writer, teaching at universities and schools across the United States, Europe and Asia, David is an internationally recognized Thought Leader in the positive role of nature in promoting health in the built environment.
An avid traveler, sketcher and photographer, personal and professional travels have brought David to over twenty-five countries. He currently resides with his husband, architect Michael Rubin, in Palm Beach, Florida.
