About the Author

Michael Middleditchwas chief cartographer atGeographiafor many years. He created the Mapguides especially for Penguin, and there are three highly successful titles in the series- New York, Paris, and London. He died on Christmas Day 2012, shortly after completing this eighth edition of his famousLondon Mapguide.
