GEOFF HILL writes popular columns in the Sunday Times and Irish Times and is the author of Way to Go: Two of the World's Great Motorcycle Journeys and The Road To Gobblers Knob: From Chile to Alaska on a Motorbike as well as a collection of his travel writing Anyway, Where Was I?. He has either won or been shortlisted for a UK Travel Writer of the Year award nine times and is a former Irish Travel Writer of the Year. He regularly writes about travel for the Irish Times, Daily Telegraph and the Independent on Sunday. COLIN O'CARROLL was born in Belfast in 1962. After emigrating to Australia at the age of 10, he returned to his native city as an adult to work as a journalist, both as roving reporter with Downtown Radio and editor of Daily Ireland. He also worked for the News Letter before becoming a freelance journalist.
