Robbie MacNiven is a highland-born History graduate from the University of Edinburgh. His hobbies include historical re-enacting, football and obsessing over Warhammer 40,000. For Black Library he has written the Deathwatch short story 'Redblade', the Warhammer 40,000 novel Carcharadon: Red Tithe and the short tales 'A Song for the Lost' and 'Blood and Iron'.
