Will Scott's early writing career began in politics while he worked at the European Commission's press office for Employment and Social Affairs in Belgium. After a return to London, he turned his attention to working as a journalist for the broadsheet and tabloid press for three years before moving to Newcastle. There he continued his work in journalism but also expanded to script-writing.
Scott is the author of Pavel Is a Geordie, an autobiography of late Czech goalkeeper for Newcastle United, Pavel Srnicek, and Black or White, No Grey Areas, an autobiography of Lee Clark, the former Newcastle United, Sunderland, and Fulham Premier League star.
