Susan M. Tiberghien is the author of three memoirs and the bestselling nonfiction book, One Year to a Writing Life. Her first book, Looking for Gold: A Year in Jungian Analysis, was published when she turned sixty. This is a lesson she happily shares with writers: there is time. Side by Side: Writing Your Love Story is the book closest to her heart because it shares her love for a Frenchman and her love of writing. Tiberghien has taught creative writing for over twenty-five years at writers' centers and conferences across the United States and Europe, at CG Jung Societies, for the International Women's Writing Guild and each month for the Geneva Writers' Group that she founded twenty years ago. She lives in Geneva, Switzerland with her French husband. Her memoir, Footsteps In Love with a Frenchman, is a collection of stories about their falling in love, moving to his country, raising six children around Europe, and still being in love at fifty. As of this writing, they have sixteen grandchildren.
