"Sharing a story of slavery isn't ever easy for any educator, yet
Christine helps learners to think critically about American slavery
while telling a more humanizing and accurate account of Harriet
Tubman's life. Her developmentally appropriate language and visual
graphics are just right for our elementary classrooms" --Britt
Hawthorne, Anti-bias/Anti-racist Teacher-Educator
