Anyone who's seen the latest version of Summits and Icefields
(released the winter) knows what a great book it is and what an
improvement it is over the original, which itself was the best
backcountry skiing guidebook for many years (at least in Canada).
The new version's pictures are inspiring, the format concise and
relevant and the new maps make the latest version one you want to
