"An excellent and comprehensive overview of the treatment. This
book was like having my
therapist constantly at hand to answer my questions when a
difficult situation arose." Sam Townsend, mother of girl, aged 13,
suffering from Anorexia"This manual is my number one resource for
parents and clinicians involved in FBT. Since
using this manual in my private practice, parents have routinely
told me that the manual
has helped them feel empowered and knowledgeable about beating
Anorexia. I highly
recommend clinicians use this manual as a companion to FBT to
ensure consistency in the
information parents receive."Dr Linsey Atkins, Hope Family
Clinic"The path that parents take to help their child recover from
an eating disorder is often
daunting and full of challenges. This manual - written with wisdom,
warmth and
understanding - provides parent with practical information, helpful
tips and inspiring advice
that will be useful as an adjunct to treatment."Dr Michele Yeo MBBS
