This is a very nice and compact history lesson which gives a vivid
picture of Georgian London, which could easily be used to support
lessons on that period of British history, and especially the
subject of the British Empire, slavery, the limitations of medical
care in the 1880s, the social divide, and so on. The educational
elements are nicely interwoven within otherwise a relatable,
adventurous, and heartfelt story to make the reading experience
accessible but also fun.
