About the Author

Judith Lewis Herman, MD, is one of the country's leading experts on trauma and abuse and an associate clinical professor of psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School. She is also the director of training at the Victims of Violence program at Cambridge Hospital and a founding member of the Women's Mental Health Collective in Massachusetts.

Stacey Glemboski is a talented audiobook narrator, tennis player, and copywriter. Previously an English teacher, she currently works out of her home studio.
