About the Author

Claire Saunders is a freelance writer and editor. A graduate of Cambridge University, she has been editing for over 20 years, and is a prolific author of fiction and non-fiction for children. She is the author of We Are the United States Activity Book, Only in America Activity Book and The Birthday Almanac and the co-author of The Great British Staycation Activity Book and The Power Book. Claire lives with her family in Lewes, in southern England.

Sol Linero is a children’s book illustrator and graphic designer from Buenos Aires. Her distinctive artwork is filled with rich detail, bright colours and a love for local culture. She has worked for Airbnb, Pottery Barn Kids, Unicef and international magazines such as Oprah, Jamie Oliver, Wired and Scholastic. With Wide Eyed Editions, Sol has also illustrated the bestselling 50 States series.
