Science-fiction, romance, road movie, thriller? All these plus a great cast. Not as overtly scary as some of John Carpenter's other films but the attitudes of the G-men are quite disturbing. Something to keep on the shelf to watch again and again.

starman was in my opinion a good movie that I thought was well written with a well thought out story line and a believable plot.The level of acting in this movie was of a good standard with all lines delivered in a well timed manner and it was this and the story lines as well as the interesting characters which made this movie enjoyable to watch. If you enjoy a well made movie I think you will enjoy this movie and as such is recommended by me.
